To qualify for participation in the Active Worlds Educational Universe project, you must be a faculty/staff member of an accredited educational facility or non-profit organization, or a student under the supervision of a faculty/staff member.
Please send the following information ON LETTERHEAD via fax or mail to our offices:

(Students, please have the application submitted in conjunction with your teacher, professor or project supervisor)

- Requested World Name (2-8 characters, no special characters like !@#$%)
- Detailed Project Description/Statement - include information on intended use of Active Worlds in your project, research, or course. Attach documentation and curriculum where possible. (Please provide an English translation of your statement to be included in our web site documentation.)

Basic Classroom

Additional Student Licenses
Citizenships for the AWEDU are available in packages of 10.
- $200 per class of 10 (annual fee)
- $450 per class of 30 (annual fee)
Simultaneous User Expansion
- Increase in Simultaneous Users:
- $150 per 10 user increase (annual renewal fee is $75 per 10 user increase)
- $500 per 50 user increase (annual renewal fee is $375)
Please note that all Simultaneous User renewal prices are in addition to the annual Basic Classroom renewal.
World Area Expansion
- Increase in World Area:
- $200 per 500,000 sq. meter increase (annual fee is $200)

Participants are requested to participate regularly in AWEDU's community events, dialogues, and are encouraged to publish and present research and findings from any and all activites in the AWEDU.
