Project Description

Our project entails the use of Active Worlds in conjunction with a traditional web-based system to demonstrate the feasibility of a 3D virtual environment for e-commerce applications. It is used in a number of introductory classes for students in Computer Science and Information Science. Also, we use the setup in a number of projects for high school students to increase awareness of the possibilities of e-commerce.
