Project Description As the Distance Learning Specialist for the College of Education at the University of Georgia, I am charged with keeping abreast of new technologies that may impact the future of teaching and learning. I am especially interested in technologies that attempt to forge new models of instruction taking into account any new socio-cultural elements that may emerge. I evaluate any such technologies and make recommendations to faculty looking to broaden the scope of instructional technologies at their disposal. In conjunction with faculty, we assist in the conducting of research as the need arises. The intended use of this Active World will be evaluative and demonstrative in nature as s service to the College of Education faculty and students. | ||
