Project Description There are so many possibilities as to how we could use this in our educational setting, but what I would like to do is a two-fold process. First, I teach video production classes here at Madonna. Its amazing how students have no problem with the concept of 2D, but putting together a 3D graphic can become an incredible stumbling clock. I would like to make a lab, so students can create their own work site, become aware that 3D objects are viewed not only from the front but also from all sides including the top and bottom. I believe in learning to build they will begin to grasp the ideas of 3D. Another application I would like to use this wonderful world for is to have my students create a 3D radio station. Currently we have two stations on live365.com, and it is incredible. But I would like my students to build a 3D station, first , so that they get a feeling of what real world station is like, and second as a place for the students to come to have live interaction with fellow students. I think it would be an incredible learning experience and give students the opportunity to be a "real dj". | ||
