Project Description We represent an after school learning project based at Middlesbrough Football Club. Our funding comes from Central Government, which is then matched by Middlesbrough Council. Our focus is based around developing the key skills of literacy, numeracy, and we utilize our ICT resources as the major route in achieving these learning outcomes. We are part of the Government's national profile in raising achievement and aspirations amongst some of the most deprived communities within the country. We would like to use Active Worlds as a means of creating our own learning community which our students could reinforce/develop their learning around. This will be through the establishment of our virtual Football Study Support Centre. | ||
