Project Description Several students in the 7/8th grade elective class would like to create a 3D virtual tour of the school. This would mean constructing an Active Worlds world with materials we could use to build our school building and furnish it, window-by-window and desk-by-desk. The completed world would provide a space where a tour would allow prospective students, interested parents or "virtually" anyone to visit the school using the Internet. Clicking icons within a classroom in the tour would open up web pages that could serve a number of purposes, from telling the students about the curriculum or activities in the class to showing movies of performances or presentations. | ||
